Team B arrive at the Margherita Hut

Today was a rest day for Team B at the Margherita Hut. However, as usual, very little resting has been done! For those who felt well enough there was plenty of work to do in the lab setting up CPEX equipment in preparation for tomorrow?s tests and sorting out the 24 hour urine collection which began today.

Thankfully the weather has stayed fairly good so some of Team B ventured out for an early morning stroll up the Zumsteinspizte, opposite the Margherita Hut. Unfortunately the good weather brings with it large numbers of climbers so the Margherita Hut is over-full currently. Thankfully the helicopter was able to reach the hut today, taking away our full sewage tanks and bringing much needed supplies. We think the Margherita staff may be beginning to like us; they baked us heart shaped cookies for lunch!

Team A descend to Alangna today where they are met by a minibus to take them back to Milan for one last pizza before they fly home tomorrow.
